Marsalis: Racism and greed put blues at the back of the bus

Last weekend the Grand County Blues Society collected two pickup truck loads of food to stock the Mountain Family Center food bank.  Over $200 was also raised.  Thanks to everyone that made this year's drive a big hit.

Original Blue Star Colin and Grand County Blues Society board-member John Catt have received Channel 7 Everyday Hero Award.

In July of 2009 the Blue Star Connection donated $5,000 in musical instruments to the Denver Childrens Hospital. Click below to see some photos of their arrival...
